Love at first sight

 by: Berlyn B. Bucol

Everytime you’ll see a beautiful Rafflesia flower in the middle of the forest, surely you will be awed by its gigantic wonder, as they say “with one look, you’ll get hooked!” But once you’ll get closer in it, you’ll eventually know how stinky it is. A scenario which best describes the concept of love at first sight.
Being attracted to a person just at first glance; that’s the concept of love at first sight, but is it really love that one can feel?
\When one can see a complete stranger, and then it seems that you are magnetized, that definitely is purely attraction and not love. One thing that a person gets attracted towards another person is because of its physical appearance, but its just seeing one side of the entire personality of the person. There’s more behind good looks and head turning charms.
Try to go deeper, and know the real deal, get to know the entire sides of ones personality. Know his strenghts and flaws, his good and bad sides, his loves and hates even his days and nights. Take some time, because from there your question will be answered; does this stranger “the one?”
Love is an emotion that grows along with time, it is something that develops through respect and trust. Love is understanding, and accepting one’s shortcomings  and spending enough time is the best way to know one’s personality, not a day, not an hour, and surely not just in one look--not in the concept of love at first sight. Love’s best meaning is time; for like a mango in a tree, sour to be eaten early, too sweet to be eaten ripe, but in the right time, it’s just right.
